Newly Announced HD DVD Titles from Warner Home Video

Warner Home Video has announced catalog titles Purple Rain and Out For Justice on HD DVD, this July 24. Both HD DVD titles are non-combo releases and will be priced at $28.99 SRP. Bonus materials on both titles are presented in standard definition.

As for fresh-from-theatre titles, Warner Home Video has announced TMNT on HD DVD, this August 7 (Day-and-date with the DVD release). This HD DVD title will be a combo release and will thus be priced at $39.99 SRP. The main feature will be presented in 1080p High Definition 16x9 2.4:1 video with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (English) & Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 (English, French & Spanish) audio options. English [SDH], French and Spanish subtitle options are available. Early (unconfirmed) details indicate that the bonus materials on the disc includes an alternate ending, extended/unaired scenes, featurettes such as Voice Talent First Look.
