HD DVDs Released Next Tuesday June 5

Next Tuesday, Warner Home Video will release The Cowboys and Rio Bravo on HD DVD... Each is expected to be priced at $28.99 SRP and both are non-combo releases.



Paramount is also expected to make catalog titles Coming to America Special Collector's Edition and Trading Places Special Collector's Edition available on HD DVD at retail. Both are expected to retail at $29.99 SRP. The bonus materials found on each disc is expected to be similar to those found on the DVD release, with the exception of theatrical trailers being presented in HD. Main feature is presented in 1080p High Definition with Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 (Original audio) and Dolby Digital audio tracks. English [SDH], French & Spanish subtitles options are available.




Norbit will also see a simultaneous release on both DVD and HD DVD the same day. Norbit HD DVD will be priced at $39.99 SRP. Main feature is presented in 1080p High Definition with Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 audio tracks. English [SDH], French & Spanish subtitle options available. Bonus materials for the DVD release is expected to be ported over.
