'Black Rain' due on HD DVD in Japan Nov 17...

Paramount (Japan) has updated the release specs of Black Rain on HD DVD. It will be released on Nov 17, priced at 4,935 Yen (inclusive of relevant taxes). This HD DVD release will contain 2 discs. The main feature will be presented in Dolby Digital-Plus EX 6.1 (English) & Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 (Japanese). Director's audio commentary and a few featurettes is provided on the first disc since the bonus materials included is expected to be similar to those from the DVD release. Being a 2-disc HD DVD set, it could be expected that some of the bonus materials might be in High Definition... (currently the list of content on the second it is to be confirmed.)
