DTS-HD - High Definition Audio

DTS has recently updated its company trademark logo with a major overhaul of its official website... with more focus on explaining and promoting its dts-HD high definition audio technologies. Click on the above image to get to the DTS-HD website...

The updated site explains to consumer how best to enjoy DTS-HD audio tracks on HD DVD under various circumstances... with introduction of new terms such as DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, DTS-HD Master Audio (Lossless audio), DTS-HD Digital Out (allows DTS-HD High Resolution bitstreams to pass through directly to the external A/V receiver), DTS-HD Advanced Digital Out (allows DTS-HD High Resolution/Master Audio bitstreams to pass through directly to the external A/V receiver capable of decoding both HR/MA bitstreams).

A great read for consumers, especially those who intend to get the initial European HD DVD titles (most of which contain only DTS-HD audio tracks).
