Universal Studios lowers prices of released HD DVD titles from August 8

Universal Studios Home Entertainment have officially lowered the prices of their HD DVD titles released between April and July, from $34.98 SRP to $29.98 SRP, effective this coming August 8.

In chronological order (HD DVD release dates), the titles affected in this price reduction are:

>> Apollo 13
>> Doom
>> Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)
>> Cinderella Man
>> Jarhead
>> The Bourne Supremacy
>> The Chronicles of Riddick (Unrated Director’s Cut)
>> U-571
>> Van Helsing
>> Happy Gilmore
>> The Rundown
>> Friday Night Lights
>> Pitch Black
