The Fast and Furious film franchise on HD DVD this September

No, only The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious will be coming to HD DVD, September 26. The Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift should be released before the year ends...

Extras for both The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious HD DVD will be similar to their previous DVD incarnations. As it stands now, 2 Fast 2 Furious will include a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track on top of the usual Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 fare (English, Spanish & French). Full details on both releases coming as soon as I get my hands on them...
